An exhibition of coins and stamps titled 'Numishilpa-09' was inaugurated in Udupi.
Coins belonging to the periods of Chola, Mughal, Tipu Sultan, Vijayanagara rule, East India Company, Portuguese rule in India.
Stamps of different countries including the United Kingdom, Australia and India on different topics were on display.
Both stamps and coins had a lot of educative value and students could learn a lot from them, he said.
The exhibition will be open from 10.a.m. to 6p.m. at Sri Bhuvanendra Mantapa on Sri Lakshmi Venkatesh temple premises here till May 25.
